Israeli media reports revealed new details about the assassination of the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, in the southern suburb of Beirut. The newspaper "Maariv" said that a man met Nasrallah, shook hands with him, and smeared his hands with a substance that allowed Israel to track him, noting that it took Israel two minutes to locate Nasrallah and confirm his presence in a headquarters in the southern suburb of Beirut. It stated that minutes later, Israeli aircraft launched airstrikes on the headquarters and dropped an estimated 80 tons of bombs on the site.
