Palestinian Foreign Ministry Urges World Countries to Reject Displacement of Gaza Residents

Doha: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the world countries to quickly issue clear public positions rejecting the displacement of the residents of the Gaza Strip, in line with international law and international legitimacy resolutions, voicing its thanks to the countries, bodies, regional, international and UN organizations that announced their rejection of all forms of forced displacement.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement Tuesday, the Ministry reiterated its absolute rejection of the displacement policy, considering it a hideous form of ethnic cleansing, which falls within the framework of attempts to create a state of political and security chaos and to undermine the security and stability of the region and the world.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry emphasized that what is required is the immediate initiation of binding international arrangements to end the Israeli occupation of the State of Palestine, in implementation of the United Nations General Assembly resolution, which adopted the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice and UN Security Council Resolution No. 2735.
