A Palestinian teenage Tuesday evening sustained a gunshot injury from Israeli occupation army in the Salem village, east of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to local sources. The occupation forces stormed the village, triggering confrontations, during which the soldiers opened fire towards local youngsters, injuring a 17-year-old by a live round in the thigh, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) quoted the sources as saying. The casualty, whose name was not disclosed, was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Additionally, the occupation forces closed the Beit Furik checkpoint east of Nablus in both directions. Local sources said that the occupation forces closed the checkpoint at the entrance to Beit Furik town and prevented citizens from passing through it. Meanwhile, the occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin. They also raided Kafr Dan town, west of Jenin. The occupation forces also entered the village of Marda, north of Salfit, and stormed a house. Moreover, the occupation forces stormed the city of Qalqilya. According to local sources, the forces raided the city and conducted searches in the agricultural lands in the northern area known as Al-Murooj. Cities, towns, and camps in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem witness daily raids and incursions by the occupation forces and settlers. These actions are accompanied by clashes, arrests, and the firing of live and rubber bullets and toxic gas canisters at Palestinian youth.
