PHCC Announces Eid Al-Fitr Health Center Operations

Doha: The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced the operational schedule for health centers during the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr holiday, which spans from March 30 to April 7. During this period, 20 out of 31 health centers will provide primary care services to the public.

According to Qatar News Agency, PHCC has decided to halt the home delivery of medications service from the first day of Eid, with the service set to resume on the fourth day. Health centers will operate according to the approved Ramadan schedule.

Family medicine and support services will be available at 20 health centers, including Al-Wakra, Al-Matar, Al-Mashaf, Al-Thumama, and others, from 7 AM to 11 PM. Dental services will also be available, operating from 7 AM to 10 PM. Additionally, the Al-Jumailiya Health Center will be available on an on-call basis, 24 hours a day.

PHCC has identified nine centers that will remain closed during the holiday, including Al-Wajba and Al-Waab. The Al-Karaana and Al-Kaaban centers will be open for emergency cases only.

Specialty clinics will operate by appointment at Labaib, Rawdat Al Khail, and Al-Mashaf centers in two shifts. The premarital screening clinic will have limited operation days and times at Al-Mashaf, Al-Rayyan, and Labaib Health Centers.

For urgent care services, 12 health centers have been designated to operate around the clock. These include Al-Sheehaniya, Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, Muaither, and others. Certain centers are specifically designated for urgent pediatric cases.

The PHCC call center will maintain 24/7 operations throughout the week to assist the public.
