Doha: Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC)'s Managing Director Mariam Ali Abdulmalik said that the State of Qatar's healthcare sector receives the wise leadership's significant care, attention, and prioritization, aiming to reach primary healthcare excellence to enhance the population's health and well-being. In her speech at PHCC's annual excellence ceremony, Abdulmalik said that PHCC has played a significant role in advancing the healthcare sector over the past decade, as it is an innovative institution that employs more than 7,000 employees who are responsible for providing comprehensive, high-quality, and accessible healthcare services, and is centered around the members of the community. The PHCC Managing Director pointed out that the corporation has increased the number of its health centers now numbering 31 across the country, offering a wide range of preventive, therapeutic, and diagnostic services and including numerous specialized and general clinics. At its annual ceremony, PHCC honored its 25 -year long-serving employees as well as its outstanding departments and healthcare centers, namely Qatar University, Rawdat Al Khail, and Al Wajbah Health Centers.
