Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani directed to follow up on the progress of work in the package of projects announced by the Ministry of Construction under his direction in the districts and regions of al-Diwaniyah. The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement, "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani received, today, Saturday, the Governor of Diwaniyah, Abbas Shuail al-Zamili, who briefed him on the situation throughout Diwaniyah, and the file of service projects being implemented in the governorate." The statement added, "The Prime Minister followed the progress of work in the package of projects recently announced by the Ministry of Construction and Housing, under the guidance of the Prime Minister, in the districts and regions of the governorate, and included the sewage and drinking water sectors, roads, bridges, municipalities, and rehabilitation work for dozens of residential neighborhoods." Al-Sudani stressed the need for field follow-up of projects by the governor and members of the l ocal government, identifying problems that obstruct the progress of implementation, and immediately addressing them, with the aim of accelerating their completion and improving the services provided to the people of Diwaniyah, indicating that the government has allocated one trillion dinars from ministries' projects outside the governorate's allocations, and prepared plans to revitalize the industrial and agricultural sectors, in accordance with the government program and in a way that contributes to improving the governorate's situation.
