Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Sunday with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev, who is visiting the country. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them. They also addressed developments in the region, particularly those related to the ceasefire between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran, in addition to efforts aimed at reducing escalation to enhance security and stability in the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the need for all parties to respond to the ongoing mediation efforts. He highlighted that these efforts would pave the way for addressing the root causes of the crisis through peaceful means and dialogue, leading to a sustainable agreement that prevents renewed escalation.
