Doha: The General Directorate of Civil Defense is hosting a series of workshops aimed at educating staff in educational institutions across Qatar on emergency safety protocols. These four-day workshops are taking place at the Officers Club and involve nearly 1,200 participants, including school managers, their deputies, and both male and female security and safety officers from public and private institutions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the workshops emphasize safety and precautionary evacuation guidelines during emergencies as a comprehensive reference to traditional evacuation measures. The primary goal is to harmonize response procedures when alerts are issued via the National Alert System and to streamline evacuation and shelter operations, ensuring the safety of students and educational and administrative staff.

The Directorate's statement highlighted that the workshops also focus on preventive alert levels and the mechanisms for managing the National Alert System, alongside the responsibilities handled by safety officers.
