Montenegro: HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim met with key parliamentary leaders on the sidelines of the first Summit of Speakers of Parliaments and Presidents of Houses of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean in Montenegro. Among the notable meetings were discussions with Faisal Akef Al Fayez, President of the Senate, and Mazen Qadi, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meetings focused on enhancing parliamentary cooperation and exploring avenues for strengthening dialogue and cooperation between parliaments. Key topics on the summit's agenda included parliamentary diplomacy and enhancing the resilience of democratic institutions.

HE Al Ghanim also held discussions with Andrija Mandic, President of the Parliament of Montenegro, where they explored ways to bolster parliamentary cooperation and addressed issues of mutual interest. Additionally, a meeting with Angelo Farrugia, Speaker of the Maltese House of Representatives, centered on parliamentary collaboration and an exchange of perspectives on the summit's main themes.

In a related development, Nayef bin Mohammed Al Mahmoud, Secretary-General of the Shura Council, engaged with Boban Stanisic, Secretary-General of the Parliament of Montenegro. Their discussions revolved around administrative and parliamentary cooperation and coordination, focusing on issues of shared interest.
