Qatar News Agency (QNA) celebrated Today Garangao Night, as it hosted a number of children of employees and workers in the agency's building, wearing their bright traditional costumes, as part of the agency's keenness to enhance its role in social responsibility.
The celebration included decorating the children's reception area, and preparing fun folklore shows. Gifts, sweets and nuts were also distributed to the children of employees and workers, to the tune of the popular songs of the Garangao night.
Garangao is an ancient traditional custom in Qatar and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries that is inherited and renewed every year on the night of the middle of the blessed month of Ramadan. (QNA)
