Qatari Newspapers Highlight Amir’s Ratification of Key Resolutions

Doha: Qatari newspapers have focused their Monday editorials on the ratification by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani of significant legislative resolutions, notably Cabinet Resolution No. 3 of 2025, which issues the executive regulations of the Social Insurance Law No. 1 of 2022, and Cabinet Resolution No. 4 of 2025, which issues the executive regulations of Law No. 2 of 2022 concerning military retirement. These resolutions aim to bolster transparency and efficiency in the implementation of the Social Insurance Law, safeguard the rights of insured citizens, and promote financial sustainability within the system.

According to Qatar News Agency, the newspapers also dedicated considerable attention to the forthcoming visit of HH the Amir to the Sultanate of Oman, responding to an invitation from HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. This visit is expected to involve discussions on enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations and addressing mutual interests.

Additionally, the newspapers lauded the announcement of the Qatar Charitable and Humanitarian Sector Strategy 2025-2030 and the launch of the “Sanadi” platform, designed to streamline charitable assistance efforts within Qatar.

Al-Arab newspaper emphasized that the ratified resolutions provide detailed procedural guidance for relevant individuals, addressing potential inquiries and ensuring citizens’ rights. The newspaper expressed gratitude to HH the Amir for these significant measures that impact the lives of many Qatari citizens.

Al-Raya newspaper highlighted Qatar’s commitment to developing an effective social protection system for all its citizens, focusing on retirees.
