Doha: The joint technical team between the Ministries of Interior of the State of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates convened in Doha on Tuesday to deliberate on integrating traffic systems.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari delegation was led by Assistant Director of the International Cooperation Department Brigadier Hadi Hamad Al Hajri. Meanwhile, the UAE was represented by Brigadier Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Ahmed, Head of the Joint Technical Team for Security Projects. The focus of the meeting was to evaluate various measures related to the project for integrating traffic systems and launching joint traffic services, alongside other security initiatives.
During their visit to Qatar, the UAE delegation also toured the General Directorate of Traffic and the General Directorate of Communications and Information Systems. They were given insights into the traffic procedures, systems, and the modern technologies that are being utilized in information systems and communications.
