Qatar’s Diplomatic and Cultural Engagements Highlighted in Recent Developments

Doha: The State of Qatar has expressed its support for regional and international peace and cooperation, welcoming a significant trilateral agreement between Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. This agreement defines the point of contact at their international borders and includes the signing of the Khujand Declaration, aimed at enhancing paths of eternal friendship among the three countries.

According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar is preparing to participate in the 3rd GCC Beach Games in Muscat, set for April 5-11, 2025, with a delegation of 18 athletes. In a separate development, Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of recent actions by the Israeli National Security Minister, including a raid on Al Aqsa Mosque and the expulsion of worshippers, as well as the attack on a UNRWA clinic in the Gaza Strip.

Additionally, HE Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani conducted an inspection visit to Hamad International Airport. In health initiatives, a Qatari medical delegation is set to visit Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to perform cochlear implant surgeries for children with hearing loss.
