QNB Announces New Deposit Rates for Multiple Currencies

Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has announced the latest deposit rates for a variety of currencies, effective from Sunday. The updated rates cover a range of time periods from one month to twelve months, offering competitive options for investors and account holders.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for the US Dollar (USD) start at 3.64637% for a one-month period and increase to 3.73148% for a twelve-month deposit. Rates for the Japanese Yen (JPY) begin at 0.65000% for one month, peaking at 1.17000% for twelve months. For the Swiss Franc (CHF), rates start at -0.10000% for one month, moving up to 0.15000% for a year-long deposit. Meanwhile, the British Pound (GBP) begins at 3.80000% for a one-month deposit and reaches 4.75000% for twelve months.

Additionally, the Qatari Riyal (QAR) deposit rates start at 4.07395% for one month and decrease to 3.92005% over twelve months. The Saudi Riyal (SAR), pegged at 4.50000% for one month, remains constant at 4.30000% from two months to twelve months. The United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) begins at 2.05000% for a one-month period, increasing to 3.15000% for a twelve-month deposit. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) rates initiate at 4.56000% for one month and slightly decrease to 4.6300% for twelve months.

These rates reflect the ongoing economic strategies and market conditions, providing insight into the currency markets and the potential returns on investment for depositors in Qatar and beyond.
