QRDI Council Announces Event Lineup for Web Summit Qatar 2025

Doha: Qatar Research, Development, and Innovation (QRDI) Council announced its lineup of events and agenda for the upcoming Web Summit Qatar, set to take place from February 23 to 26.

According to Qatar News Agency, as a strategic partner of Web Summit Qatar and exclusive partner of the Corporate Innovation Summit, QRDI Council organized a series of interactive activities tailored to the interests of entrepreneurs, innovators, and investors attending the summit. These include panel discussions, presentations, and knowledge-sharing sessions hosted at the QRDI Council Pavilion.

Secretary-General of QRDI Council, Eng. Omar Al Ansari, is set to participate in a key panel discussion on the innovation ecosystem, which will explore the current landscape of science, technology, and innovation in Qatar, with a focus on how the ecosystem is evolving to drive economic diversification and foster technological advancements.

Eng. Omar Al Ansari stated that the Web Summit Qatar presents a unique opportunity for QRDI Council to highlight Qatar’s role as a global hub for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable development. The council is excited to engage with local and international experts and stakeholders as they continue to shape the future of innovation in Qatar and beyond.

The QRDI Innovation Pavilion will feature several sessions, bringing together prominent local and international experts in research, development, and innovation. Among the highlights are sessions led by Qatar Financial Centre (QFC), Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), and the Indian Embassy in Doha, along with a special session hosted by Ogilvy, titled “Data is Power: Turning Browsers into Brand Advocates.” Additionally, QRDI Council is set to launch and introduce several new programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening Qatar’s innovation ecosystem and supporting the country’s broader economic vision.

The QRDI Council Pavilion will serve as a platform for thought leadership, knowledge exchange, and networking opportunities, offering participants insights into how the council is fostering a robust research, development, and innovation ecosystem in Qatar.
