Doha: The QSE index ended the trading session on a positive note, recording a modest increase of 5.63 points, or 0.05 percent, closing at 10,668.05 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 234,061,040 shares exchanged through 20,056 transactions across various sectors. The total value of these transactions amounted to QAR 524,475,779.590. The session witnessed an increase in the share prices of 28 companies, while 17 companies experienced a decline in their share prices. Nine companies saw no change in their share prices.

Market capitalization at the close of the trading session was QAR 635,934,480,129.898, which shows an increase compared to QAR 634,954,336,067.120 recorded in the previous session.
