The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange dropped 9.84 points, or 0.09%, at the start of trading on Tuesday, down to the level of 10,433 points, compared to Monday's closing.
QSE index saw a rise in some sectors: Insurance by 0.60%; Real Estate by 0.45%; and Industrials by 0.16%. However, the index was weighed down by a decline in Banks and Financial Services by 0.09%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.13%; Telecoms by 0.46%; and Transportation by 0.53%.
By 10:00 am, 25.705 million shares were traded in 1,903 transactions valued QR 44.619 million.
