Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 5.88 points, or 0.06%, at the beginning of trading on Tuesday, reaching 10,000 points, compared to last closing. QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in five sectors: Insurance by 1.21%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.28%; Telecoms by 0.23%; Transportation by 0.09%; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.01%. However, the index saw a rise in Real Estate by 0.20% and Industrials by 0.05%. By 10:00 am, 18.249 million shares were traded in 1,984 transactions valued QR 50.694 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
