QSE Index Rises 0.40% at Start of Trading

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Tuesday, gaining 42.21 points, or 0.40%, to reach 10,714 points, compared to the previous session's close, supported by all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, market data showed gains across various sectors. The Industrials sector increased by 0.64%, while Transportation saw a rise of 0.52%. The Insurance sector went up by 0.46%, Banks and Financial Services climbed by 0.31%, Consumer Goods and Services increased by 0.28%, Telecoms rose by 0.25%, and Real Estate saw a growth of 0.15%.

By 10:00 am, the trading turnover reached QAR 63.996 million, with a total of 26.395 million shares being traded in 3,605 transactions.
