Qatar Stock Exchange index rose 39.31 points, or 0.37%, at the beginning of Thursday's trading, to reach the level of 10804 points, compared to Wednesday's trading.
The index was supported by a rise in five sectors: the telecommunications sector by 0.89%, the industry sector by 0.71%, the real estate sector by 0.64%, the bank and financial services sector by 0.32%, and the transportation sector by 0.01%. On the other hand, the consumer goods and services sector fell by 0.21%, and the insurance sector fell by 0.47%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2451 transactions worth QR 80.991 million, distributed to 32.191 million shares.
