Doha: Qatar University (QU) hosted the 2024 tadTalks Passion-Driven Research. tadTalks represents part of QUs commitment to building a strong sense of graduate community, enhancing the graduate experience, and supporting graduate research. In a statement today, the QU said that this event aims to highlight the outstanding successes of students, present strategies for success in the field of graduate studies, and encourage current and prospective students to target impactful research that addresses global challenges. Dean of Graduate Studies at Qatar University Dr. Ahmad Al Own delivered the welcome address stating: "Graduate studies are the cornerstone of capacity building and the path towards achieving sustainable development and a knowledge-based economy. They receive special attention from the State of Qatar, which has provided all the necessary requirements for their development to elevate them to the ranks of the most advanced countries in the world." He added: "Graduate studies represent one of the mo st important academic platforms for Qatar University in its pursuit of excellence in research, education, and community service. The university has achieved significant milestones in programs, education, training, scholarships, services, and partnerships, enriching the culture of creative and authentic scientific research."
