Nine members of the Kirkuk Provincial Council elected Rebwar Taha as governor of Kirkuk and Mohammed Al-Hafez as head of the Kirkuk Council in a process that took place at al-Rashid Hotel without the presence of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the Turkmen Front and the Arab Alliance in Kirkuk, according to a political source.
