Russian President Vladimir Putin has given a green light to the creation of a Russian orbital station at a meeting with Roscosmos Director General Yury Borisov, the chief of the Russian space agency said on Wednesday.
Borisov said that Putin approved a project to create and launch an independent Russian orbital station, within the framework of the new Russian program to conquer the moon.
Marking Cosmonautics Day at the State Kremlin Palace, Borisov said that Putin approved all the proposals for the creation of the Russian Orbital Station and readiness for the transition to mass production of satellites.
