Saudi Arabia Hosts Talks Between US and Ukraine in Jeddah

Doha: As part of its efforts to resolve the Russia-Ukraine crisis, Saudi Arabia hosted talks on Tuesday in the city of Jeddah between Washington and Kyiv, with the participation of Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah.

According to Qatar News Agency, the US delegation at the talks was led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, while the Ukrainian side was represented by Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office Andriy Yermak, Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, and Ukrainian Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov.

These talks are part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to mediate the conflict between Moscow and Kyiv, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to promoting global security and peace. Saudi Arabia believes in the importance of adhering to international laws and norms, viewing dialogue as the most effective means of resolving disputes and bridging differences.
