Doha: Saudi Arabia's defense ministry announced the successful interception and destruction of a drone in the country's Eastern Province on Monday evening.

According to Qatar News Agency, official spokesman Turki Al Maliki stated that the unmanned aerial vehicle was detected and subsequently neutralized.
