The “Ramadan Majlises and Teamsn Tournament” for the padel sport kicked off at the Pink Padel court, with the participation of 96 professional and amateur players.

The tournament, which is part of a series of Ramadan activities, is in line with the support of the Southern Governor, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, for various events and programmes aimed at strengthening community partnership among various social segments.

It is also part of the Southern Governorate’s keenness to embrace the distinguished and exceptional initiatives during the holy month, to ensure enhanced awareness of the importance of sports and health practices and their positive impact on the individual and society, as well as strengthening the frameworks of community partnership, in a way that supports its goals of serving the community, by allowing everyone, professional or amateur, to show their capabilities.

12 8-player teams are participating in the tournament, and the winners will be crowned on March 29.
