The First meeting of Asian Parliamentary Assembly's Palestine committee (APA) kicked off with Syrian participation in the Iranian capital, Tehran. Sabbagh called for 'finding unified and effective position to confront this Israeli persistence and the blatant violation of the standards of human rights and international legitimacy resolutions, in addition to demanding the parliaments worldwide to condemn these massacres committed against our people in Gaza, and to put pressure on the government of the Zionist entity for an immediate and permanent ceasefire throughout Palestine in general, and in Gaza in particular. He demanded stopping the campaigns of displacement and ethnic cleansi ng of the Palestinian population, working to lift the siege and allowing the entry of relief crews along with food and medical materials.
