Representing Syria, the team of the Center for Applied Physics and Basic Sciences in the Lattakia has won two silver and bronze medals, and two certificates of appreciation in the International Olympiad for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), which was organized by the European Union countries with the participation of more than 11,000 students from 114 countries around the world.
The competition targets high school students and serves as an international online competition platform for those interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
