FARO - The Qatar national football team have concluded an impressive training camp in the Portuguese city of Faro on Friday ahead of their game against Portugal in FIFA World Cup 2022 European Zone games on Saturday.
Qatar are playing as a guest team in Group A of the European qualifiers and their matches are considered as friendlies. The Asian champions will face Portugal in Faro on October 9 and Ireland on October 12 in Dublin.
The coaching staff under Felix Sanchez will seek a strong show from the team against tough opponents. Qatar had lost to Portugal 1-3 in the first leg while they drew 1-1 with the Republic of Ireland.
