The Coordination Framework gave the Sunni blocs a week to present their candidate for the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives. A statement by the media department in the framework said that the coordination framework held its 191st regular meeting in Nouri al-Maliki's office to discuss the latest political developments in the country, most notably the decision to elect a speaker for the House of Representatives. The framework called on the honorable Sunni blocs to assume their responsibility regarding the vacancy of this basic position in the political system of this site within a week. According to the statement, the coordination framework announced its intention to hold a session dedicated to that after the end of the week's deadline to complete the important entitlement and prepare to vote on the 2024 budget schedules.
