Turkish media quoted an Egyptian diplomatic source as saying that the visit was postponed due to the importance of President Sisi's participation in the Russian-African summit.
Turkish media indicated that the Egyptian diplomatic source stressed the importance of the upcoming meeting between Presidents Erdogan and Sisi for the benefit of the two countries and the region, since this meeting comes after a tour by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the Arabian Gulf.
It is noteworthy that Egypt and Turkey finally decided to raise the diplomatic representation between them to the level of ambassadors. After this development, attention turned towards the upcoming meeting between the two presidents, to strengthen relations between the two countries.
