Governor Dodin, at the beginning of the meeting, stressed the importance of this meeting, thanking all workers in the media sector for maintaining the efforts they are making to convey the truth and the occupation's violations, especially after the seventh of October, despite all the obstacles and attacks practiced against them by the settlers and occupation soldiers. He added that the media has become a real partner in the arena and an essential support through the integration of roles, which has led to the creation of a bright place for the Palestinian media worldwide, despite the arrest of journalists by the occupation and the closure of media centers under false pretexts and pretexts. The governor said: 'The crimes of the occupation after the seventh of October, especially in the closed areas, require integration among everyone to create a media system related to exposing these practices and conveying them to international public opinion and its various institutions.' For his part, Jihad Al-Qawasmi, representative of the Journalists Syndicate in the governorate, said that this meeting represents a good and important gesture in communicating with journalists and listening to their concerns and needs, reviewing a number of important issues that need to be followed up that affect the requirements of journalistic work in the Hebron Governorate. Director of the Directorate of the Ministry of Information in the governorate, Khaled Khanna, thanked Governor Dodin for his great interest in the media sector, stressing that this meeting will be the beginning of a real, sustainable partnership between official and media institutions.
