The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate Council continued to hold its meetings to prepare for the Iraqi Press National Day celebrations, which will start on June 15. The Syndicate stated in a statement, "The Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami, chaired a meeting of the Syndicate Council and members of the committees and advisory body in the Syndicate, during which the names of the invitees and delegations that will attend the Press Day celebrations were determined, which include Arab and foreign ministers of culture and information, heads of Arab and foreign media institutions, media figures, heads of international organizations, the nature of their arrival and hosting, and their program of residence in Baghdad to participate with the journalistic family in its celebrations on this occasion." The statement added, "It was decided that the Syndicate Council would be in a permanent meeting to discuss all preparations for the journalistic family's celebrations of the Iraqi Press Day in Baghdad and t he governorates.
