The Israeli army announced this evening, Wednesday, its responsibility for the assassination of the sons of the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniyeh. A joint statement by the Israeli army and the Internal Security Service (Shin Bet) stated that, under intelligence guidance, warplanes raided Haniyeh's sons in central Gaza. It is noteworthy that six of the sons and grandchildren of the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, were martyred in a Israeli bombing west of Gaza. Palestinian media reported: 'Hazem, Amir, and Muhammad Haniyeh are the sons of the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh.' They were martyred, along with their children, in an Israeli air strike that targeted a vehicle in the Beach Camp, west of Gaza. Eyewitnesses said that the martyrs were "Hazem Ismail Haniyeh and his daughter Amal, Amir Ismail Haniyeh and his son Khaled and his daughter Razan, and Muhammad Ismail Haniyeh." It is noteworthy that Jamal Muhamma d Haniyeh, the eldest grandson of Ismail Haniyeh, was martyred in a bombing in November 2023, and in the same month his youngest granddaughter, student Ruaa Hammam, was also martyred in an Israeli bombing that also targeted her family's home in the Gaza Strip.
