The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Khaled Battal Al-Najm, discussed with the Russian Ambassador, Bruce Kotrachev, the procedures for implementing the project to rehabilitate and establish glass and ceramic factories in Anbar, according to the partnership contract concluded between the Federation of Russian Companies and the General Company for Glass and Refractories.

Al-Najm stressed, according to a statement by the Ministry: the need to expedite the completion of the necessary procedures for the project by the Federation of Russian Companies, as it is considered one of the important projects for the Ministry and the Anbar Governorate. Pointing out: There is a great failure by the Federation of Russian Companies in implementing the project.

He stressed: the necessity of working hard in implementing the project and adhering to the specified timelines, otherwise the contract will be terminated according to the Iraqi frameworks and laws in force.
