The occupation arrests 15 citizens from the West Bank, including a woman

Bethlehem - Ma'an - Since yesterday evening, until Thursday morning, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 15 citizens from the West Bank, including a woman from Ramallah who was arrested as a hostage, in addition to former prisoners.

The Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Authority and the Prisoners' Club explained that the arrest operations were distributed across the governorates of Ramallah, Bethlehem, Nablus, Hebron, Tulkarm, and Jerusalem, accompanied by widespread raids and abuse, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens' homes.

They pointed out that the total number of arrests after October 7 rose to about 8,550, and includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.

The occupation forces continue to implement systematic arrest campaigns, as one of the most prominent established policies, which escalated in an unprecedented manner after October 7, not only in terms of the level of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the level of crimes committed.

It is noteworthy that the data related to arrest cases includes those who were kept in detention by the occupation and those who were later released.
