The occupation forces were present in large numbers at the gates of the Old City and Al-Aqsa, and prevented the entry of hundreds of worshipers. Ma'an's correspondent reported that hundreds of Palestinian residents were prevented from entering the Old City through its gates, and in the Damascus Gate area, the police asked them to vacate the place after preventing them from entering the Old City to reach Al-Aqsa, and informed them that the ban would continue until two o'clock in the afternoon. At the gates of Al-Aqsa, the forces imposed strict restrictions on the entry of worshipers, and prevented most of them, except for a small number of elderly people. The forces also ghosted the young men and searched them.
