GAZA CITY: Three Palestinians were killed on Wednesday in an explosion and subsequent shelling by Israeli forces, targeting civilians in northern and eastern Gaza. The incident adds to the escalating violence in the region, resulting in further casualties and destruction.
According to Qatar News Agency, Palestinian medical sources confirmed that two individuals lost their lives due to Israeli shelling on Al Nazaz Street in eastern Gaza City. A third individual died from injuries sustained when an explosive device was detonated by Israeli forces using a booby-trapped robot at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza.
Earlier in the day, Israeli shelling struck a residential apartment in eastern Gaza City. The attack claimed the lives of six people, including three children and two women, and left several others injured. The continuous violence has raised concerns over the safety and wellbeing of civilians in the area.
Israeli warplanes carried out intense airstrikes in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the Beit Lahia project, northern Gaza. In addition, drones opened fire in the Al Saftawi area and on Ahmed Yassin Street, west of Jabalia. The ongoing military operations have exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in the region, prompting calls for restraint and dialogue from the international community.
