Baghdad, The newspapers issued today, Tuesday, focused on the House of Representatives' vote on the federal budget for the year 2024 and the visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to the National Security Service. Al-Zawraa newspaper, which is published by the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, said that the House of Representatives voted on the schedules of the general budget law for the year 2024 and adjourned its session. It quoted the Media Department of the House of Representatives in a statement, saying, 'Al-Mandalawi opened the work of Session No. (27) of the first legislative term, in the third legislative year, the fifth electoral session,' indicating that 'the number of attendees reached 199 MPs.' It added, 'The House of Representatives voted on the schedules of the Federal General Budget Law, No. 2024, amended (13) for the year and its annexed schedules (A/B/C/D/E/F), and adjourned its session.' It pointed out that the Presidency of the Council announced the end of the first legislative ter m/third legislative year/fifth electoral session. For his part, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani said in a statement: 'With greater appreciation and pride, we congratulate the responsible step of the esteemed House of Representatives, represented in approving the 2024 budget schedules.'
