Turkish Foreign Minister: The policy of extremist mentality in Israel is far from logic and based on destruction

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that the extremist mentality in Israel is far from logic, and that it is pursuing a policy based on destruction. Fidan added in an interview with the official Turkish Anadolu Agency today, Thursday: Israel has begun to gradually escalate its attacks on Lebanon, with the bombing of wireless communication devices, indicating that this type of attack is not a new concept, and that intelligence agencies use it frequently, but what is new about it is its widespread use in Lebanon, which led to the killing of more than 35 and the injury of thousands. Fidan confirmed Turkey's readiness to provide all forms of medical support to Lebanon, expressing his concern about the escalation in the region. He said: "We have now reached a point where these operations carried out by Israel have become increasingly provocative, and therefore Hezbollah, Iran and other elements close to them have no choice but to respond." The Turkish Minister added that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin N etanyahu's project to seize all Palestinian lands with Western support "is still ongoing." He stressed that there is an ongoing "massacre" and "genocide" in the Gaza Strip, and that everything possible must be done to stop it. He pointed out that the world is facing a UN General Assembly resolution calling on Israel to withdraw from the territories it occupies within a year. Fidan said: The State of Palestine seems to have been forgotten, but it is good to raise the issue of the two-state solution (Palestinian and Israeli) again. He added: "A great awareness has been formed in the international community in this regard, and now the international community recognizes this fact and stands behind it, and just as Israel is granted a state, the Palestinians must be granted a state, and just as the Israelis seek sovereignty and security, the Palestinians must seek sovereignty and security." On another note, Fidan pointed out that there is a great awareness in Turkish institutions about cybersecurity, indicatin g that there is a general directorate within the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in this regard. Fidan explained that the Intelligence Service and the Security Directorate have an effective role in this regard, indicating that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan supported the need to proceed with the establishment of an independent cybersecurity agency in Turkey, and that this step will be achieved very soon. Regarding the Syrian file, the Turkish minister expressed his confidence that reaching a solution in the form that Turkey wants will enable Syria to solve its other problems easily. Regarding the rise of the far right in Europe, he indicated that nothing will change for Turkey if the far right comes to power in Europe, indicating that those countries dealt with Turkey as if the right is the ruler in their capitals.
