Two human trafficking operations thwarted in Babylon and Nineveh

Detachments of the intelligence agency responsible for combating organized crime thwarted two human trafficking operations in Babylon and Nineveh governorates. The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement: 'The Intelligence Agency's detachments monitored information indicating the existence of two human trafficking gangs in the two aforementioned governorates. An intelligence work team was immediately formed, and with field follow-up and two separate operations, the sale process was thwarted and all four defendants were arrested.'
