Gaza strip: Two Palestinians were martyred on Tuesday as Israeli occupation forces continued attacks targeting various areas across the Gaza Strip. Medical sources reported that one person was martyred in an Israeli drone strike near the Sheikh Nasser neighborhood, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. In the northern Gaza Strip, a woman was martyred by Israeli gunfire in Beit Lahia. The death toll since early Tuesday has risen to three, after a child succumbed to critical gunshot wounds sustained earlier from Israeli occupation forces.
According to Qatar News Agency, over the past 24 hours, seven Palestinians have been martyred and 21 others injured. The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that a total of 784 Palestinians have been killed and 2,214 others wounded since the ceasefire agreement was reached in the Gaza Strip last October. The recent escalation in violence underscores the fragile nature of the ceasefire, raising concerns about further casualties and the humanitarian impact on the region.
