Abu dhabi: The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates reported that air defenses were actively responding to missile and drone threats originating from Iran.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry stated that the noises heard across various parts of the UAE were due to air defense systems intercepting ballistic missiles. Additionally, fighter jets were engaged in intercepting drones and cruise drones.

Earlier on Monday, authorities in Fujairah successfully contained a fire that ignited after debris fell following the interception by air defenses. Emergency response teams effectively managed the situation, ensuring there were no injuries reported.
