Doha: The UAE authorities announced that competent departments in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi responded to an incident resulting from falling shrapnel in the Al Shawamekh area, following the interception of a ballistic missile by air defenses.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the incident resulted in a minor injury to an individual of Indian nationality. The authorities highlighted the swift response of the emergency teams in managing the situation and ensuring public safety in the affected area.
