Doha: Ukraine announced Sunday that its air defenses intercepted a Russian drone attack last night, shooting down 124 drones launched at various locations across the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) reported that its air defenses shot down 124 out of 144 drones. The attack targeted numerous locations, but 11 different spots were confirmed to have been hit by the drones, while debris from downed drones was identified at six sites.

Since February 24, 2022, Russia and Ukraine have been issuing near-daily reports on the unfolding conflict and the affected areas. However, because of the ongoing war and the complex nature of the conflict, these statements remain challenging to independently verify.
