Major US stock indexes ended mixed at the end of the trading session on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve kept US interest rates unchanged.
The S&P 500 gained 3.83 points, or 0.09%, to end at 4,372.84 points, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 53.16 points, or 0.39%, to 13,626.48.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 226.72 points, or 0.66%, to 33,985.40.
