Ramallah - Ma'an - The Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research issued a critical policy paper entitled "The Possibility of Expanding the Gaza War into a Regional War and the Consequences of That on the Palestinian Authority and the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict." This policy analysis paper seeks to describe and analyze the regional dynamics represented by the unprecedented direct armed confrontation in April 2024 between Iran and Israel, which represents the highest level of risk that the Gaza War may have generated for decision-makers in the two countries since the beginning of the conflict between the two countries. She added, "Despite the current apparent calm in the conflict between Iran and Israel, the developments in the war in Gaza and on the Lebanese front between Israel and Hezbollah may increase the chances of a return to a similar escalation that may continue to rise, threatening to destabilize the entire region, and even threatening a wide regional war.
