1 Killed, 4 Injured in Russian Attack on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Region

Kyiv: Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) reported Tuesday that one person was killed and four others were injured in Russian attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region last night.

According to Qatar News Agency, Russian forces targeted the region with 20 drones, in addition to artillery shelling and guided aerial bombs. This assault resulted in one death and four injuries, while several buildings and infrastructure facilities sustained damage, Ukrinform added.

Meanwhile, Russian forces launched several airstrikes on the capital, Kyiv, causing damage to a number of homes and educational institutions.

The Russian-Ukrainian war, which began in February 2022, has been marked by intermittent diplomatic efforts led by various international actors, but a comprehensive political settlement remains elusive, as military operations and exchanges of attacks between the two sides continue.
