The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Jabro, announced the return of 189 Yazidi displaced persons from the displacement camps in Dohuk Governorate to their original areas of residence in Sinjar District, Nineveh Governorate, as part of the Ministry's plan to end the displacement file in the country and in line with the government program.
Jabro indicated, in a statement today, that the government pays special attention to the Sinjar file and the voluntary return of the displaced to their areas, as well as providing all facilities for them and the requirements for a decent life for the returning families, stressing that the ministry's cadres are continuing to register displaced families who wish to return in coordination with local governments.
