Erbil, A research team at Sulaymaniyah University in Iraq announced Tuesday the discovery of an ancient palace dating back more than 3,500 years. The palace contains urban and religious landmarks, and is located on the banks of the Sargnar River in an area of mountain crossroads and fjords. It also contains a throne room, storage rooms, and tablets written in cuneiform script and containing religious and economic texts. Source: Qatar News Agency
